Bheemaram Church dedication: Bheemaram is situated in Adilabad district of AP. The work here is concentrated on Nathakani, Lambadas, Erukalas and Reddies. The Lord enabled us to complete the church construction and we dedicated the same for the glory of God on the 27th of February 2010. 300 people were there for the dedication service. Prior to the dedication 11 people took baptism. Please continue to remember these wonderful believers in your prayers. Our goal is to establish 20 new worship groups the surrounding areas. Lehra Mohbat, Bhatinda: The ministry in Punjab is going on well and many are responding to the gospel. The Jat Sikhs and others are coming forward openly accepting Jesus as their savior. The Lord heard our prayers and we were able to register a property which has got some structures in it for the use of the Church service and community development programmes. We want to thank each one of you for praying for this need and especially who contributed toward this need. As soon as we finished the registration, we held a prayer meeting in the same premises and it was glorious view to see the neighborhood walking into the house to worship the Lord with us. Missionary Training: On 23rd of January, 2010 we launched The Theodore Williams ear marked memorial fund for Missionary Training. Our vision is that more and more young people would be trained and sent to the Mission Field. To train a missionary for nine months we need Rs. 40,000/- We would request to pass on this need to everyone to raise more support. Multipurpose Hall at Training Institute: Our Training Institute is situated about 45 KM away from Bangalore on a 16 acres land. The training of missionary candidates is done here. We also use this place for other training such as In-service Course, Leadership Training and retreats. We are glad to inform you that we were able to build a hall where 200 people can be seated. We are in need of money to equip this hall with different needs such as chairs, furniture, LCD projector and other needs. Please contribute liberally. General Secretary's Visit to USA God willing our General Secretary Rev. P John Wesley will be leaving to US on the 17th of March 2010, on the invitation of Friends of IEM, USA. Rev. John Wesley will be visiting different places and ministering in different churches. We would appreciate your prayers for the same. He will be leaving to Brazil from Dallas on April 9th to attend the Faith2Share International Network consultation to be held in Recife, Brazil. Jeevan Jothi Girls Hostel - Update On 31st January 2010, we were able to do the ground breaking ceremony for the Jeevan Jothi Girls Hostel near Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. This project is to construct a building for 200 under privileged tribal girls from our mission fields to be sheltered and educated. We are sure as we start this Rs. 50,00,000/- (5 million) project with just Rs. 3,50,000/- in hand, the Lord would provide the entire need in the days to come. The immediate need is 10 donors who could come forward to give Rs. 1,50,000/- each to build one room where 6 girls can be accommodated, thus to begin with the needs of 60 girls can be met. Right now we have 32 children who are accommodated in a rented building. These children need to be moved to this new facility by June 2010. New Testament in Bison Horn Madiya language
The New Testament in Bison Horn Madiya
language (one of the Gondi dialects) was dedicated on the 10th
of February 2010. It was a memorable and
historical day in the lives of these people and
for the Madiya Church. This New Testament would become
the first ever written book available in Madiya
language. IEM Launching Radio Programmes The TWR has come forward to offer themselves to partner with us. They are willing to train IEM missionaries in producing programmes in different languages in which our missionaries are working. This would definitely help in the Church Planting in the unreached areas. IEM is looking into the possibilities of launching four languages to begin with. Each programme would be 15 minutes duration. God willing we are hoping that this effort would bring many people to the saving knowledge or our Lord. |
